300-posts-on-monscooch.jpg

After two hundred and eighty five posts on my old blog and this being my fifteenth on the new and improved Monsococh blog, I’ve reached that magic number one hundred times, 300.

To celebrate I’m giving you the chance to download the 300 graphic novel by the legendary Frank Miller here: Megaupload or Mediafire. To view the comic, download the application CDisplay. If they’re down, a handy search engine can be found here: Shareminer.

On the topic of 300, here’s the trailer for new spoof movie Meet The Spartans:

It’s Britney Spears shaving her head! How topical!

It stars that guy from Grange Hill and Eastenders, your one from Hercules and Carmen Electra who you couldn’t not have in a film like this. It’s a direct sequel to Epic Movie but the name change won’t stop the idiot nation flocking to see this one. I have a theory that the guys behind this film must be a real-life version of Mel Brook’s The Producers.

It’ll mostly be based around 300 but will also include spoofs of Cloverfield, Happy Feet, Ghost Rider, Rocky Balboa, Transformers, Stomp the Yard, You Got Served, Little Miss Sunshine, Spider-Man 3, Shrek the Third, Sanjaya Malakar from American Idol, Donald Trump, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Paris Hilton, Ugly Betty, Britney Spears, Rambo, Deal or No Deal and Chris Crocker of all things.

At least in the coming weeks, we have Juno, Walk Hard, No Country For Old Men, Sweeney Todd and other such films to look foward to until they are all spoofed in next year’s humour-free extravaganza.
